PACA and Brittany Marine Clusters members participated in a mission in Norway on Marine Renewable Energies
The two Marine Competitiveness Clusters, PACA and Brittany, jointly organized a mission in Norway from 28 September 2008 to 2 October 2008 to enable their members to meet key Norwegian actors in Marine Renewable Energies (MRE).
Working meetings were held in Trondheim and in Oslo. The participants had the opportunity of exchanging views with representatives of businesses specialized in floating wind turbines, marine current turbines, and osmotic pressure energy production: STATOILHYDRO (HYWIND project), MARINTEK, SINTEF, STATKRAFT...
This mission was conducted under the partnership framework of the two Marine Clusters with the French-Norwegian Foundation (FNF) that focuses on scientific and technical research and industrial development. This Foundation, an association governed by Norwegian law, is unique in that French and Norwegian representatives of industrial sectors as well as public authorities hold equal representation.
