Through missions carried out, the Marine Centre is becoming a key actor for developing a maritime economy, at the international level, in the PACA Region.

Actor of an international maritime economy

Thanks to prospecting, identification and qualification missions that are carried out permanently, the PACA Marine Competitivity Centre is in a position of identifying real valorisation opportunities for its members.

It ensures the creation of synergies and R & D partnerships between the members of the Marine Centre and international actors of their relevant sector. It facilitates their access to international markets, especially by organizing Business-to-Business meetings.

  • Exploratory missions (USA, Canada, Greece, Spain, Italy, Algeria and Morocco)
  • Cooperation projects (UK, Italy, Germany and Canada)
  • Hosting of decision-makers (China, UK and Sultanate of Oman)
  • Organisation of workshop-meetings in France and abroad
  • Common inter-centre actions, involving PACA and Brittany and eventually other centres (halieutic centre of Boulogne-sur-Mer), in Canada and USA
  • Trade shows, international symposiums and seminars (China, Mexico, Canada, UK and France)
  • Collaboration with the French Navy concerning its stops abroad
  • Prospecting new countries and new fields (Tunisia, the Netherlands,  Portugal, India, Israel, Turkey, Dubai, Asia, ....
