The multiplier factor
The PACA Marine Competitivity Centre regularly initiates collective actions, especially focused on SMEs, which result from an exchange of best practices and the pooling of resources, that are mainly SME-oriented. Some of these measures focus on the development and promotion of the network.
Through its collective actions, the PACA Marine Competitivity Centre is seeking to reinforce the knowledge and expertise of its members in relevant areas.
While the goals of collective actions conducted by the Marine Centre, which mainly address SMEs and VSEs of the Marine Centre, represent a variety of areas, they are especially focused on the following areas:
A collective action, initially carried out with CAPASEATY project participants, has lead to the elaboration of guidelines for the formulation of consortium agreements for the use of all SME/VSE members of the PACA Marine Competitivity Centre. In this way, the proposed guidelines are aimed at ensuring their rights are safeguarded.
The Marine Centre has requested several studies to be carried out by the Economic Missions of Korea, Japan and China. The aim is to gain a better grasp of Asian markets and to identify the areas and technologies its member should focus on in order to develop their commercial potential in this region of the world.
