IMPROVING THE SECURITY OF SMALL FISHING VESSELS - DYNAMIC STABILITY

Major Objectives: dynamic stability of fishing vessels from 12 to 24 m long;
- Development and implementation of embedded systems, to improve the safety of vessels, taking into account the constraints of minimum energy consumption and the behavior of the crew, while remaining affordable for small vessels
- Developing new concepts of vessel, fishing gear and interfaces between the two, in respect of the same constraints as before
- Crew training, using media and tools produced by the project simulator, physical platform scale, combined with potential changes in regulations and recommendations.
