Assisted Recovery Embedded Sensors

RAPACE The project aims to develop a captive motor carrier, able to deploy easily and quickly a sensor to an average height of aerial observation of 150 meters by any operator without special training.
The onboard sensor becomes an "eye deported" to:
- Monitor various target areas: industrial sites, forests, ports, pipelines ...
- Locate and identify objects (people, vehicles, clean sheets, containers, ...)
- Geo-referencing these objects
- To guide response teams to the objects identified.

GEOCAN credit - Seen 150 meters high.
The project RAPACE 2 certified in November 2008, follows the RAPACE project, supported by the ANR in 2005.
