
Simulation tool for optical image formation

The project OSIOFOST, certified in April 2008, is to propose a comprehensive study, based on the study of physical phenomena involved in the propagation of light in the ocean, and in particular the spread, leading to simple models for image formation in the underwater environment, which is necessary to develop methods of image processing adapted to the specific nature of underwater images.
