Acoustic antenna technology
The ATOS project, certified in November 2008, aims to achieve an antenna underwater acoustics in all-optical technology for maritime surveillance. This development is a technological breakthrough for passive surveillance systems, underwater acoustics, based on the use of optical sensors based cavity fiber laser (OWLC) multiplexes and easily searchable across vast distances via a single cable optical fiber, without need of electricity board.
This system, freestanding, can also be coupled to systems of marine protection more complete type SECMAR.
