SEDIMATERIAUX MEDOC

The main objectives related to this project, certified in November 2008, are:

- To emerge and consolidate national chains of economic treatment and management of marine sediments leading regional actors port, research, treatment and recovery on strong positions in international competition on these topics. 

- Inform and enrich the work and investigations of MEEDDEM for accompaniment on the regulatory dimension

- Provide players of the maritime zones of tools including a methodological guide and a center of expertise and resources including a sédimentothèque and a database of reference for environmental management of sediment

- Have a demonstrator at scale 1 on the site Bregaillon

- Explore the creation of a Mediterranean observatory on sedimateriaux
